Day 24

A letter to my Parents!
Sorry I am a little late with this one, its been a busy busy weekend!

Mom & Dad,

I love you. Thank you for always being there for me in every way. Thank you for being such an amazing example for me. You have taught me what love means, what it means to be a family, and what a loving marriage looks like. You have given me everything within your means, but taught me modesty and gratitude. You have shown me so much love, hugs, and kisses. I am so grateful for all the great times we had together, but have also learned so much from the hard times. I have so many amazing childhood, teenage, and adult memories with you both. I think this is what makes you such great parents- you have played a constant loving role in my life at every age. From day and one, I have never seen anything but love from you. I have such amazing memories with each of you!

Dad- Every childhood Saturday morning memory of mine belongs to you. While mom was at work you were there for some serious Lisa and Dad time. I would wake up to you eating a bowl of honey nut Cheerios on the couch. You let me wake up on my "terms" while we watched "This old House" or "Trucks! & Horse Power TV". Then when I would get hungry I would go into the kitchen to find that you had already gone to the store at 5 AM that morning to get us doughnuts for breakfast! - I know to anyone else that could seem like a pretty lame Saturday morning for a young girl. But to me it was better than a million bucks. I would never take back even 1 of those Saturday mornings with me and my dad, I will remember those mornings forever!

Mom- The first thing that comes to mind when I think of childhood memories with you is hanging out with you at the Hair Salon. I absolutely loved the countless times you would let me come to work with you and just hang around. I loved coming along and being your little Mini Me! I would just spend the day reading magazines, eating a lifetime supply of skittles, and listening to the beauty shop gossip! And then you and I would make a special girls lunch trip every time. It was our special thing!
I love you both more than you know, Thanks for being you!
Love, Weezer Bubby.
